Little House on the Prairie Womens Dress

While most of the Little House on the Prairie style costumes are for girls, there are great options for women too.  And some aren't the traditional dress/bonnet/apron combo, but more in line with dresses Laura and her sisters would have worn to school, to church and places other than just working around the house or being out on the farm.

Traditional Pioneer dresses

For women, there are some great options in different styles.

This is less of a traditional "pioneer costume" look, but rather just an everyday calico dress.  It reminds me of dresses worn on both Little House on the Prairie and When Calls the Heart.  It comes in 4 different colors.

This is another simpler dress and comes in three different colors (white and red that is shown, as well as white with blue flowers and white with purple flowers).

This is a more formal style of pioneer dress, like what one would have worn to church or other special occasion in town.  It has buttons up the front and added ruffles on the bodice.

This is a much simpler dress, and as it is not fitted it might be easier for sizing issues.  The bodice and waist both have elastic with gathered fabric to ensure a generous fit.  It comes in white and blue (shown) as well as yellow

This one is interesting, it has a very pioneer feel to it with a dash of steam punk thrown in with the waist detail.  So for this outfit, you could style it for multiple costumes.  It also as an option with a gold blouse instead of the white one shown.

If you want to purchase separate pieces, there are some great pioneer skirts and shirts available, too.  You can mix and match with what you have in your own wardrobe.  Personally I love this skirt.  It comes in the gold color shown below, and is also available in pink and blue.  It is elastic waist and has a crinoline skirt underneath it to give it volume.
